Tins’Vil Spumante | La Selva

The term Tin derives from the Etruscan name for the god Jupiter and is used to form the word “Tins’vil” which means “in honour of Jupiter”. A sparkling wine produced from Sangiovese grapes with fine, balanced and elegant perlage and pleasant floral aromas with hints of bread crust and almonds. Sangiovese presented in an innovative form, with the acidity and body that honours this grape (whose name comes from Sanguis Jovis, the blood of Jupiter).

Soil: clay soils rich in marland calcareous rocks from the Cretaceous Era

Harvest: manual harvest of the Sangiovese grapes occurs early to preserve their acidity and freshness.
Fermentation: Once destemmed and deposited in the press, only the flower must is vinified at low temperatures
Ageing: 4 months of ageing on the lees in stainless steel tanks. The second autoclave fermentation lasts about ten days, after which the wine is aged on the lees for 6 months
Refining: 3 months of bottle refinement before market release

Alcohol: 12.5%

Color: pale pink color and fine perlage
Nose: Complex aromas of floral notes and hints of yellow fruits, bread crust and almonds. Savory and full-bodied on the palate, with a long persistence
