Memento Riserva is a rich and enveloping, intense Sangiovese and Syrah blend that offers aromas of cherries and plums with notable dried herbs and pepper. An aged and structured wine with a persistent finish that leaves a distinct sense of its long barrel aging with lingering notes of spices.

Soil: clay and sandy soils with pebbles
Harvest: manual harvest in early October after drastic thinning of the bunches and careful selection on two conveyors
Fermentation: seperately for each varietal in stainless steel tanks with 25-30 days maceration on the skins
Ageing: the Syrah ages for 12 months in French barrique barrels whereas the Sangiovese is aged for the same time in French oak wood tonneau; they are then blended together and aged for another 12months in barrels
Refining: 12 months of bottle refinement before market release
Alcohol: 14.5%
Color: Intense ruby red colour
Nose: Plums and spices, particularly pepper are characteristic of the Syrah whereas the Sangiovese adds notes of dried cherry
